Vision for the North Austin Table
The Gospel is the Good News of Jesus! He was sent to save us! The Harvest Partnership is a Spirit-led movement of Jesus’ disciples investing Spiritual, Relational, Intellectual, Physical, and Financial capital to multiply disciples and expand God’s kingdom. A “table” is a place where individuals, groups, churches, and others (there is a seat for everyone!) gather together. The purpose for coming to the table is for each to offer what they have for sharing the Good News. We fuel and send harvest workers and multiply harvest tables to connect the disconnected to Christ, His Church, and our calling in His Kingdom.
What We See
We see multiple disciple-making communities emerging throughout south-central Williamson County, Texas.
We see these located in homes, businesses, and other types of locations.
We see these communities working in partnership with existing and future congregations.
We see these communities as part of a movement of fueling and sending harvest workers.
How We Will Get There
We will seek out people of peace (see Luke 10:5-6).
We will unleash God’s Word (see Acts 2:42-47).
Proclaiming Identity in Christ: proclamation
Teaching the Story of Jesus: explanation
Sharing what we’ve been freely given: demonstration
Embodying Christ in our neighborhoods: incarnation
We will develop new leaders who will do the same in more and more neighborhoods.
We will actively invite engaged participants in this movement to partner in area congregations.
Where It Will Happen
South-central Williamson County, namely the south and east areas of Round Rock, Hutto, and surrounding areas as the population explosion unfolds. In this area within 10 miles of Hutto, the population was 394,800 in 2021, and is projected to be 448,315 by 2026! Hutto has grown from 14,698 in 2010 to 25,577 in 2020, currently at 30,855, with a projected growth to more than 65,000 by 2030!
Why It Will Work
Focusing on building partnerships, being a resource for existing area congregations, and seeking to continue to develop and raise up new leaders so that multiple churches are eventually planted, the vision is based upon connecting the disconnected to Jesus through relational experiences in neighboring environments. The words of Ephesians 1:7-10 and 2:14-16 are key motivators indicating we are uniquely positioned to succeed by way of the lavishing of His grace and the healing and uniting power of the Gospel:
